Stella Goes to Santa Barbara!
Katie’s Baby Registry
Ever since I worked on a real estate project in Isla Vista, I have had it on my list to get back to Santa Barbara. From the easy airport and charming Spanish style town, to the flower lined trails and beaches - I knew it was the perfect U.S. beach destination for our first trip as a family of 3.
Naturally, a vacation with a 1 year old would be a far cry from the months I spent in a hip, State Street Hotel as a 22 year old, so I was sure to take all the necessary steps to ensure it was an enjoyable vacation for us all. Here’s what we did!
My (limited) Waco Restaurant Rotation
Baby tools and items have one of the fastest turn around rates when it comes to new things coming out and old things going out of style. I’m sure by the time I post this, something on my list will be recalled, but just in case you are creating your own registry or wanting to give something special to someone about to have a baby: here are a few of my favorite things!
Brody and I knew we had to be prepared for not having our go to restaurant experiences we had in Dallas (which is still one of my favorites cities in the country, Texas or not!). We love fine and fun dining. Brody always jokes that my Grandfather ruined me as a child because he took me to fancy restaurants and let me order whatever my heart desired. It was a huge highlight of my childhood!
